The steel H-beams are visible between the sleepers, which gives the wall a clean, structured look. They can also be painted if you prefer them to blend in.

Concrete sleeper walls sit in the mid to upper range for cost. They are more expensive than treated pine but less than sandstone or full masonry. Given their lifespan of 50 years or more, the long-term value is hard to beat.
